The Maryland State Fair Livestock Fund has been created to promote and support our Youth showing at the Maryland State Fair. 

 

We are raising money for this year's State Fair, which attracts approximately 500,000 people, to support the livestock sale, increase Livestock premiums at the show in 2022 and beyond.  In addition, we are planning year round educational opportunities for the kids and the public.  

 

As you know, Marylanders live and work in a challenging agricultural environment. The mission behind this campaign is to drive our state fair livestock show and sale to mimic what we see happening in the Midwest. At all of the Junior National breed shows, our kids are consistently big time contenders. Yet, we fail to create excitement and maintain support at our home state fair. We need your support to change this. Please consider donating to benefit our Livestock youth who are our future leaders. The kids that are involved in livestock now are the leaders that will run our businesses, shape our government, our state  and our country in the future. We believe it is paramount to show our young community youth that we believe in them and stand behind their solid work ethics. Lets encourage these hard working kids to stay the course and remain interested in livestock! We hope that you will partner with us to celebrate our hardworking youth by donating.
