How much does admission cost?
Adult admission: $8, Senior Citizen (62 & Over) $6, Children 6 to 11: $3, children 5 & under are admitted FREE (Rides are not included). A ticket is required for all persons aged 3 and over for concerts held in the Racetrack Infield. Rides are not included. Rides are individually priced.
How much are rides going to cost?
Tickets may be purchased at the Midway Ride Ticket Booths. Tickets are $TBA each and each ride uses approximately 2-6 ride tickets. RIDE DISCOUNT TICKET SHEETS are also available at ride ticket booths: 50 ride tickets for $TBA.
ADVANCE TICKET DISCOUNTS: Fare better by purchasing in advance a $100 minimum of any combination of Fair Admission, Ride Wristband and/or Food Coupons no later than TBA. Check back next year for Advanced Ticket discounts!
WRISTBANDS: Ride Wristbands, for $TBA, will be available TBA. Ride wristbands can be purchased at the Midway ride ticket booths (SOLD ONLY FROM TBA). Ride Wristbands can be used TBA ONLY! FAIR ADMISSION IS NOT INCLUDED.
M&T $DOLLAR$ PREVIEW NIGHT: TBA ONLY - from TBA - The Maryland State Fair will offer a Dollar Preview Night when admission is only $TBA and $TBA per ride.
FOOD LION RIDE COUPON: Ride wristbands will be available TBA. Fairgoers pay $TBA (SOLD ONLY FROM TBA) to ride an unlimited number of rides from TBA. A $TBA Off Food Lion coupon is available at participating local Food Lion stores while supplies last. FAIR ADMISSION IS NOT INCLUDED.
LABOR DAY RIDE SPECIAL: TBA. Fairgoers pay $TBA to ride an unlimited number of rides from TBA. FAIR ADMISSION IS NOT INCLUDED.

Livestock and Horse Show Hours: Open 9 AM to 10 PM
Demonstration & Exhibit Hall Hours:
Monday through Thursday - Open Noon to 10 PM
Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday, September 2nd - Open 10 AM to 10 PM
Midway Hours: Open 10 AM (Saturday, Sunday & Monday, September 2nd) and Open Noon (Monday through Friday)
What kind of parking is available?
Limited parking is available on the Fairgrounds for $3. Free parking is available at the Park and Ride location on Deereco Road west of the Fairgrounds. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Handicapped parking is available. Please see the fairgrounds parkers, and they will direct you to the appropriate and closest handicapped parking area. Because convenient parking is limited, we encourage the use of the Light Rail.
What are the public transportation options?
The Timonium Light Rail Stop is located a short walk from the entrance to the Fairgrounds near the Cow Palace. The MTA No. 9 bus line also serves the Timonium Park and Ride/Light Rail Stop. Because convenient parking is limited, use of the Light Rail or the No. 9 bus line is encouraged. Is camping available?
Camping is not available during the Maryland State Fair and is ONLY available throughout the year, for Vendors of Maryland State Fairground events! The fee for camping is $20 per day, and security will collect these fees each evening. There is sewer, water and electric available during the summer months, and because we winterize everything during the winter, water will not be available during the winter season. Check with the security office at 410-252-0200 x230 to make sure that security will be available and that the gates will be open.
Are Wheelchairs Available?
No, there are not wheelchairs available this year.
Hand washing stations are set-up throughout the fairgrounds for you and your family’s convenience. Make sure that once you and your family are finished visiting the animals that they make good use of the hand washing stations!
